First Aid & CPR Courses
Basic Life Support
Healthcare providers can take the standard First Aid Certification course that’s specifically tailored to provide First Aid training, plus skills required for Basic life Support.
This 4-hour in-class course includes several topics, from Preparing to Respond to Breathing & Circulation Emergencies, Wound Care, Head & Spinal Injuries, Sudden Medical Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, Poison and more.
AED Training
Someone who’s been trained to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) can save a life. This standalone half-day in-class course will introduce you to AEDs and instruct you on how to prepare and use one safely.
Bloodborne Pathogens
As a healthcare professional, you may be exposed to blood and bodily fluids or items contaminated with blood while working.
This self-paced online course takes 3 to 4 hours to complete on average. It will give you a basic understanding of blood-borne pathogens, including how to recognize hazards associated with occupational exposure, steps to prevent exposure and what to do if exposed to blood or bodily fluids. Topics include Bloodborne Pathogen Regulations and Workplace Programs and Personal Protection.

Standard First Aid - CPR Level C
We recommend this course for anyone in a supervisory or management position. Most healthcare agencies require Standard First Aid & CPR C + AED Training. This course blends in-class and online learning across 14 topics and is required for workplaces for more than 5 workers in a shift.
CPR
CPR - Level C
Are you required to re-certify annually for your job? This 6-hour course blends online learning and teaching time.
Emergency First Aid - CPR Level C
We offer Emergency First Aid Levels A, B and C. The 8.5-hour online and in-class Level C course combines CPR + AED and will be helpful in on-the-job emergency circumstances. Topics include Emergency Medical Services Systems, Airway Emergencies, Breathing Emergencies, Respiratory & Cardiac Arrest, Wound Care and more.
Fire Safety
Fire safety is the responsibility of both employers and workers. This 1-2-hour self-paced online course will teach safe work practices concerning fire prevention. You’ll also learn how to respond in situations involving fire.
WHMIS - General
If you’ll be working with hazardous products, you’ll need to learn how to handle them safely. This self-paced online course takes most participants less than 2 hours. Upon completion, you’ll be able to identify WHMIS responsibilities of employers, suppliers and workers, understand workplace requirements related to using labels, recognize WHMIS pictograms and types of hazards and more.

Will you be transporting dangerous goods as you carry out your tasks? In this self-paced online course that takes the average student 5-9 hours to complete, you’ll learn about TDG Act compliance and regulations, along with proper documentation, safety marks, forbidden goods, means of containment, special provisions, exemptions and reporting requirements.

You will understand classification of dangerous goods, regulations about proper documentation, safety marks, means of containment, forbidden goods, exemptions, special provisions and reporting requirements.
